Eagles Wedgetailed Eagle - The largest bird of prey found on the mainland of Australia. Body length can be approx 1 metre long and a wing span of up to 2-3 metres. Eats mostly native wildlife eg: wallabies, and will also feed on road kills. |

Tawny Frogmouths Commonly mistaken for an owl, however, the Tawny is a nocturnal bird closely related to the nightjar family. They rely on their cammouflage during the day to ensure that predators cannot see them. |

Rainbow Lorrikeets Found mainly in Qld, but have been introduced to other states in Australia. In some areas, is now considered a pest bird, due to numbers increasing.
