Western Tiger Snake (Notechis scutatus)

Western Tiger Snake (Notechis scutatus)

Found in surrounding swampy, wetland areas where frogs are abundant. Easy to identify by the yellow or orange underbelly with yellow scales coming up the sides. The top part of the snake can be either black or dark brown. Can be arrogant in its character. Grows to approx 1.3 metres.
